Preparing for your Session

These are merely suggestions. Please don’t feel obligated to follow these guidelines. They are just ideas to help enhance your photography session. As always feel fee to contact me with any suggestions, ideas, or questions. We can come up with something unique and personalized for your photo session.

For Children : fun outfits are encouraged! Tutus, hats, sunglasses, pearls, fun and funky prints (leopard or zebra print), bright colors, head bands, costumes, change of clothing is welcomed. I don’t mind outfit changes at all.

Items for Children: Preferred items, toys, books, stuffed animals, dolls, sports equipment, musical instruments, uniforms, dance costumes, ect.  Anything that appeals to your child will make the picture that much more special.

Seasonal items for holiday photos: Santa hats, pumpkins, bunny ears, mittens, hats, anything that you’d like for your holiday photos is welcomed. Some supplies are available by the photographer. Inquire about props and I can see what we have and what I can get for you.

First Birthday Shots: A cake smash is always a huge hit for a child’s first birthday. Any kind of small cake that your child prefers will make an excellent addition to the photos. Choose fun, colorful outfits that show your child’s personality for this session. Let me know if you have any ideas for themes (such as a tea party or circus). These sessions include a 6″ cake from Abby’s Cake’n  Bake made to match your theme or outfit. Avoid a large meal before this session (we want your child to dive into the cake!). Make sure to pack a change of clothes and bring plenty of baby wipes. Prepare to get messy!

Mini Sessions: Mini Sessions are only offered as special events arranged by the photographer. Most of the time they are offered for holidays and specials through out the year. They are first come first serve and only available the one day posted. Please follow the photographer’s Facebook page in order to be notified about special promotions, contests and mini sessions.
