My name is Christa D’Antona and I am from the New Haven/Fairfield area of CT.   I am a born natural with children. I’ve previously worked for 5 years at a local daycare center where I worked with newborns and toddlers. There I also taught preschool. From there I moved on to working at a private school for children with autism and neurological disorders. I’ve been working at this school for the past 13 years and love every minute of it. I love it so much, I am going back to school to further my career in this field. Currently I just finished my Bachelors degree in Psychology and am hoping to start graduate school in the spring of 2017.

I love photography and try to fit into my busy schedule. I would love to take pictures of your little ones & your family. I specialize in family photography, pictures of newborns, children, and of course mom and dad! Even though I seem to have a knack for children,  I love wedding photography and working with couples! I prefer candid shots in natural settings and enjoy using props. I have a slight prop addiction! I am always on top of the newest trends in photography!

I don’t have an exact style but I am very relaxed and like natural photographs. Therefore I don’t do much posing or directing because I believe (especially with children) that they don’t need it. The best pictures come from children just being children and exploring. It’s all about having a great experience and being themselves. I prefer using fun locations where children can explore and enjoy themselves.

I am always open to doing different types of shoots.
